In 2023, our chief goal for the DataWise Foundation is to recreate and expand the summer training series we have used to train our own staff for over a decade. All learners will be welcome to join us to improve their research and technical skills. Topics will include survey design, qualitative research, and data visualization. Learners will practice using Qualtrics, Tableau, Excel, Word, and other software. Reach out to help shape the 2023 summer training series or to coordinate with your own network’s trainings.

For over 50 years, DataWise has intentionally employed current undergraduate students to expose them to frequently used software and introduce them to research methods for years. The DataWise Foundation will expand this practice by equipping interns with the tools needed to quickly move on to a partnered company.

Data diplomacy is the practice of sharing data in a equitable and advantageous way. We want to facilitate data diplomacy among our partners.

The DataWise Foundation will allow our team to conduct grant funded projects. It will also pave the way for pro bono work to be done for other nonprofits.
